FAQ

Have questions about our CBD products?
We’re here to help answer them.

What is CBD?

CBD or cannabidiol is one of 112 cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Typically, CBD is the major component of the plant, and when ingested, it offers a wide range of benefits. Emerging medical research points to  the benefits of cannabinoids for the nervous, immune and glandular systems. CBD is non-psychotropic, meaning it won’t get you high or buzzed like its cousin THC. In fact, the hemp plants grown on our Utah farm test out at under 0.3% THC, well below the federal limits.

Is CBD Legal?

CBD oil is produced from the hemp plant and is legal to sell, procure and consume in the United States. This is based on the US Farm Bill, signed into law in December of 2018. All PURAURA products are fully tested to ensure that they do not contain more than 0.3% THC.

How is Puraura Naturals CBD manufactured?

The PURAURA Naturals team provides hemp expertise from genetics, to farming, to extraction and fully controls the quality of the cannabinoids we place in our products. We select the strains of hemp we believe will do best on our farm, rigorously test the strains and plant the winners on our family-owned farm in beautiful Green River, Utah.

Our farm manager and extractors work hand-in-hand to produce hemp flower that bursts with cannabinoids and facilitates the cleanest extraction. The flower is harvested and processed at our extraction facility in St. George, Utah at the foot of Zion National Park.

Why do the product Certificates of Analysis show different CBD numbers than advertised?

The 3rd party testing facility we use for our products calculate the cannabinoid profile on a milligram per gram basis to assure high levels of accuracy. Depending on the consistency of the product, it is shown in either milliliters or grams – 1 mL is equivalent to 1 gram. For example, if the Certificate of Analysis for a 30mL tincture shows 50 mg/g for Total CBD, that means there is 1500 mg of CBD in your product – 30 x 50mg = 1500mg. We take testing very seriously and strive to provide you with premium, verified products that you can trust.
